Jenifer Constantine

I grew up in a small town in the Adirondacks, upstate New York. My father worked at a paper mill and later became a full-time antique dealer, following his passion. This shift was a formative experience, teaching me the importance of pursuing one's dreams and giving me a deep understanding of antiques, collectibles, and various design eras.

I graduated with honors in English literature and art history and worked as an art gallery curator. Seeking a more creative outlet, I pursued a master's degree in industrial design at Pratt Institute, where I learned technical skills and the fundamental principles of design. This education taught me that design is about learning how to think creatively and apply skills across various projects.

After graduate school, I moved back to upstate New York, where I channeled my creativity into running a restaurant. I managed every aspect, from kitchen operations to graphic design, creating a beloved environment that was featured twice in the New York Times.

When the restaurant closed, I worked in a high-end kitchen showroom and later as a project specialist at a box store, gaining a comprehensive understanding of various installations. When my position was eliminated, I founded Jenovate to bring a designer's touch to the renovation process, focusing on thoughtful, detailed planning to create custom spaces. I believe that everyone deserves to live in a space that reflects their personal style and meets their unique needs, and I'm passionate about making this a reality through the power of design.
